Terms & Conditions
General
Your use of the UScellular® High-Speed Internet Service, including the use of any equipment and Services (together “HSI Service”) is governed by the following documents. Any conflict among these documents shall be resolved by giving priority to the documents in the order listed below.
HSI Service does not support roaming. HSI Service plans require that the equipment associated with the plan be used only at one fixed location approved by UScellular. The HSI Service plans are fixed service plans and may only be used at one location within UScellular licensed market area as approved by UScellular when your HSI Service Plan is activated (“HSI Service Address”). You may not move the equipment to a new location without UScellular approval. In the event you desire to move your HSI Service Plan from your HSI Service Address you will need to request preapproval from UScellular. UScellular will determine if your new location is one that is permitted per your HSI Service Plan. In the event you move the device from the HSI Service Address without UScellular approval, we may either cancel your HSI Service Plan or proactively change your HSI Service Plan to one that best fits your usage and is available at the new location. The new service plan may be another HSI Service Plan or any other data plan currently available. If your HSI Service Plan is cancelled, you will still be liable for any amounts owed for the equipment.
external fixed equipment
Certain HSI Service Plans may require the installation of permanent equipment at your HSI Service Address. Only a professional installer can install/de-install this equipment. You agree to cooperate with UScellular as necessary to allow the equipment necessary to receive the HSI Service to be installed/de-installed at your HSI Service Address. You agree to follow any instructions provided by UScellular or any UScellular designated third party regarding installation/de-installation of any equipment required for the HSI Service, including installation/de-installation of replacement equipment if necessary.
Ip address
The HSI Service utilizes dynamic IP addresses or privately managed IP addresses. UScellular makes no guarantees regarding the HSI Services interconnectivity with the internet and some Internet content may be unavailable to you. Static IP addresses are not used or available for the HSI Service and some uses that require static IP addresses are not supported by the HSI Service.
software
You agree and understand that the equipment and systems through which UScellular provides the HSI Service may contain firmware or software (“Software”), and that UScellular shall have the right to upgrade, update, monitor and perform maintenance on the equipment and Software at any time without notice. You consent to any Software license terms associated with your use of or access to the HSI Service or equipment.

The U.S. Cellular Home Phone Device (“Device”) in conjunction with Home Phone Service (“Service”) (together the “U.S. Cellular Home Phone”) is a Commercial Mobile Radio Service and not a landline phone service. U.S. Cellular does not represent or warrant that the U.S Cellular Home Phone is equivalent to landline phone service. 911 calls made using the U.S. Cellular Home Phone Service are routed using U.S. Cellular’ s automatic location technology and users should be prepared to provide their physical address to emergency responders. While the Device does contain a GPS chip, its connection may be limited due to the Device’s location within the home. The GPS chip will work best if the Device is located near a window or other opening.
A corded or cordless landline phone must be connected to the Device in order to use the U.S Cellular Home Phone to operate. A corded or cordless landline phone is not included. While the Device does have a backup battery, if the landline phone to which the Device is connected requires external electric power to operate, Service (including the ability to make and receive 911 calls) will not be available during a power outage.
Neither U.S. Cellular nor any of its affiliates shall be liable for any service outage and/or inability to access emergency service personnel, nor shall U.S. Cellular or any of its affiliates be responsible for the acts or omissions of emergency response center personnel.

The U.S. Cellular Home Phone is solely a wireless voice service. Data services typically available on handheld wireless phones or other wireless devices are not available through U.S. Cellular Home Phone. U.S. Cellular Home Phone is not compatible with services requiring data including, but not limited to fax service, DVR services, credit card machines, medical alert services or some High Speed or DSL Internet services. The U.S. Cellular Home Phone may not be compatible with certain home security systems. Please check with your home security system provider to confirm the compatibility requirements of your home security system.
